I hosted this presentation for National Heritage Week 2026, an online talk taking a closer look at the differences between the Gaelic and the Roman interpretations of the Christian faith, focusing on what made Irish Christianity so unique, creative, diverse and a pain in Rome’s behind for 700 years.
This was an online fundraising panel talk held by myself and other trustees of the Gaelic Woodland Project. Combining the disciplines of environmental science, Gaelic studies and the Irish language, we discusses the relationship of the Irish people with their own landscape.
